Effective 3 September 2026. These terms explain how you may use PlayDNA and how subscriptions and support work. PlayDNA is made by Shuttle Works, a trading name of Star Bubbles, Unipessoal Lda.
Using PlayDNA
You may use PlayDNA for personal padel scoring, shot tracking, match review and related features on your own Apple Watch and iPhone. You are responsible for your devices, your Apple Account and the settings you choose.
What the numbers mean
PlayDNA describes what your wrist and score data show. Shot types are estimated from wrist motion and can be wrong; intensity is wrist swing intensity, not ball speed; the only speed figure shown is labelled as an estimate. Workload, session demand and heart-rate views compare you with your own history and are not medical, fitness, injury or readiness advice. Do not rely on PlayDNA to decide whether you are fit to play. If you have a health concern, talk to a professional.
Play safely
Keep your attention on the court. Score with the Watch between points, not during them, and stop safely before interacting with either device.
Subscriptions
PlayDNA+ renews automatically until cancelled. Subscriptions, trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple through your Apple Account and can be managed in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Access continues through the current billing period after cancellation unless Apple states otherwise. Prices are shown in the App Store for your region and may change with notice.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse PlayDNA, interfere with our systems, attempt to reverse engineer the app except where the law permits, bypass subscription gates, submit false or malicious telemetry, or use PlayDNA in a way that harms other people or our service.
Third-party services
PlayDNA relies on Apple (iCloud, HealthKit, StoreKit, WatchKit) and, only if you enable telemetry, Supabase. Those services have their own terms and availability limits.
End user license
PlayDNA is distributed through the Apple App Store. Unless separate written terms are provided, the app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.
Liability
PlayDNA is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for PlayDNA in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
If we change these terms materially we will update this page and revise the date above. Continued use of PlayDNA after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
