Good to know

Shared match.
Still your game.

A clearer picture of your partnership, without mixing your teammate’s activity into your personal progress.

Do we both need PlayDNA+?

No. The host needs PlayDNA+ to create and start a match. The signed-in partner joins free. Both players need their own iPhone and paired Apple Watch.

What if a phone loses connection?

Both Watches keep recording locally. Live score mirroring may pause and shows a reconnecting state. Return both phones to the Duo screen to reconcile the latest score.

What happens when we finish?

The host ends the match. The partner’s Watch finishes when reachable. Until both tracks arrive, the app shows “Waiting for partner’s Watch.” Early partner exits are clearly marked as partial.

What do we share?

Your shared score and stroke IDs, timestamps and types. Raw motion and HealthKit data stay local. Your personal Trends, Coach and baselines use only your own session.

Are these exact rally counts?

No. Rally windows are estimated from both teammates’ wrist strokes, with an eight-second gap separating windows. Opponent shots are not recorded.
